A marvelous milestone - the girl's 21st birthday

Samantha and Rebecca turned 21 yesterday. What a fantastic achievement.

They have developed into wonderful people.

We celebrated with them, and their fiance and boyfriend, Gordon and Mike
at a Central Coast restaurant called The Bamboo Buddha.

The girls were each given a special florist bouquet from us.
Samantha's was Flowering Gum Blossom.

Rebecca's was Proteas.

Like a trip to Bali without catching  a plane.

We had our group lunch in our own Bali Hut, so private and tranquil.

The colours and textures of the garden setting were lovely, as was this textile for a tablecloth.

The thatched roof above had interesting striated roof trusses.

The freshly squeezed juices came with bamboo patterned straws, cute.

Glorious Bromeliads.

Little paths meandered throughout and a small creek flowed into a larger Koi pond.

The fish were so large, and a man fed them by hand, with their
heads coming right up out of the water.

Giant Bird Of Paradise palm-like plants.

The pinnacle of the hut had this curious carved character. Moss was growing on the roof.

The moss on this water garden was flowering.

Buddha statues of all sizes, and images are around the garden.

Our group, in and slightly out of the sun.

The meals were great and so were the desserts. I had a warm Brownie with
a chocolate sauce, ice cream and strawberry.

A happy Bec does a final pose, before all the young folk whizzed off in
Gordon and Sam's new car. A sporty number in a zingy lime.
