Autumn arrives, continued

Lisgar Gardens, Autumn arrives.

It will be interesting to see the changes, with Autumn coming to the gardens.

Just around the corner seasonally, the focus of these gardens, the Camellia shrubs,
 will start to blossom.

It is a funny little road leading to the gardens, residential, with several period homes,
a split road with hedge and blossoming trees. There is not a lot of parking available,
so for events you need to park further and walk in.

The last house before the gardens, after that only 2 private roads to residences.

The steep declining paths and sheer drop from the road, means that there is
an inclinator available into the gardens for those who need it.

There is a nice array of plantings, including some natives outside the garden,
and softening the mesh fence.

This old gate with it's curly-queues seems to be quite old, maybe the original?

In the distance the spectre of development and cranes building high rise.

Somewhere to the right, zooming in across the valley, is our home behind the tall trees.
Not too many years ago you used to be able to see the corner of it and my studio.

This is Wirruna, across the road from us, another Cotton family home.
