Leaving the MCA.

Big picture windows looking from The MCA towards Circular Quay.

The ferries are quaint, and now talk of phasing them out.

I found historic Julian Ashton Art School, on the way to the Rocks.

Sparkles on Sydney Harbour seen from the train.

MCA

A visit to the Museum of Contemporary Art at Circular Quay.

A contrast between the bright and colourful, and the darkened
rooms with installations.

A strong representation of natural objects combined with art.

Views of The Rocks buildings, through windows from the inside
of the Museum.

Early Circular Quay

Photographs of photographs, of giant posters on hoardings,
around building sites near Circular Quay.

Interesting to me to see some reference which links to my
Great Aunt's paintings done before 1933.

Cruise continued

The cruise went for 4 hours, and it was interesting to see the working
shipyards restoring old boats.

Setting up for Westside Story alongside the Botanical Gardens.

Tribal Warrior cruise

I went on a women's wellness cruise on Sydney Harbour, run by
an Aboriginal women's group.

It was perfect sunny day on Sydney Harbour. We did some basket
weaving with native plants, Emu feathers, beads and raffia.

Good food and interesting company. Finished with short talks by
indigenous women on the state of things in their communities.

It was good to see the women taking charge, and their strength and
good ideas for themselves.
