Reinventing Rosie

Now Rosie is a good workhorse. She has a unique image,
no other car like her.

Yet the paint job is starting to show cracks, and although looking
very artistic it's a case of whether the paint will keep out the
weather.

I like rust on old farm machinery, I like it on sculpture, but probably
not my car.

So what do we do next? Another spray art job, or a straight and
normal car look - all one uniform colour?

While I make up my mind, here are some pics of now. It can wait
a while.

These are views of the full design.

Or the closeups start to look more like abstract paintings.

I love a bit of splatter!

What's been happening lately

Lots of different experiences lately, while doing placement work
for Certificate 4 in Youth Work with 2 different organisations.

Workshops of creative writing, art and the final ceremony of the
mentoring program too.

This is the speech for my mentee's farewell. As well as addressing her it was in her card too.
The wording is specific to her and carefully chosen.

My certificates for doing mentoring. One from TAFE, one from RAISE.

Doing my art too with youth mixed media class, and being assistant to the hosting artist.

Art on paper, art on caps. Different inspiration and company means different style artwork.

This 'Star Girl' artwork of mine was placed onto the cover my mentee's gift of a visual diary and pen.

The tutor in the mixed media workshop.

The 2 lovely youth workers, Emma and Maddie helping me with my studies and
placement tasks. This picture is taken inside the youth centre.

Of course I couldn't do any of it without Rosie!

Last week was a big day of a skate park event. The action
hasn't started yet in this early morning picture.
