The farm animals

The farm had alpacas, chickens and a rooster, goats, a pony, a couple of

cows, and a dog.

If you were ready by 8am you could assist feeding them.

The goats were funny, they had an abandoned ute and trailer to sit and

climb on, in their paddock.

The alpacas had recently been shorn.

All the goat girls were pregnant.

More- Barrington Riverside cottages

There were only 2 other cabins spaced away from each other.

An outdoor kitchen facility if you wanted to use it, or have a fire or BBQ.

Being here only 2 days we opted instead for the delivered platters, a cheese

selection and a fruit one. A pot of local honey too.

Barrington

We stayed at a lovely farm stay in Barrington, in a sweet cabin

overlooking the river.

The main aim was to travel to see Barrington Tops National Park.

On the farm, we could relax, feed the farm animals, and visit the

river which also had a walking trail alongside it.

I really enjoyed the style of the place, and the thoughtful and

decorative touches.

The owner lent me a guide book to better understand The Barrington

Tops.

Billabong Zoo

Next stop in Port Macquarie was Billabong Zoo.

For a small zoo an amazing array of animals.
