Nush's farm in February

OK I'm procrastinating, from cleaning the pool and doing study.
Might as well though get this out of my system, I have been
itching to see these shots from Nush's farm visit.

Fantastic to actually spend time with her, a friend of 20 + years
since the 18 months she left Sydney for Alstonville, to run their
Macadamia farm.

A beautiful property, lots of hard work, as farms are, but so much
natural beauty too. Highlight - seeing a platypus in the wild. A creek
forms one border of their property.

Four mornings in a row to see this elusive creature. Photos not super
clear as all with zoom, with my wonky focus and probably not steady
hands.

Early morning, the walk back from the cabin and breakfast. Rosie leading
the way. Note the rich red clay soil. On the left the rainforest remnant,
to the right the Macadamia plantation.

Sunlight really only penetrates between the macadamia plantings.

Everything so lush and green, even to the additional moss,
lichen and fern growth on tree trunks.

 Macadamias coming on.

The old paddock-basher ute, and the homestead.

Lovely and varied plantings around the home, and the oasis that is the pool.

A nice place to sit under the home's bullnose roof, looking outwards and sheltering from the sun.

Sweet sculpture, this lady has an unfortunate affliction, can you pick it?

Many, many beautiful trees. These had lovely bark.

A fence post marker from the past.

The relief of a green swathe, between shaded plantings.

A small boardwalk on the way to the chook pen.

The machinery shed. There are lots of pics so will divide
into 5 sections following this post.
