January - February 2016. A long and busy Summer

Uni holidays are long, and Sam and Bec have been away lots
of times, short trips and long ones.

Currently Sam and Gordon (fiance) are in Sweden. Ben has
just returned from Tasmania with Sarah (girlfriend).

On the home front many wildlife sightings, nice meals and
get-togethers. Enjoying our deck with bush aspect.

A break from work, but more home improvement, repairs or
gardening.

Then February 2 a trip to the city for my birthday. A ferry ride
to and from Bradley's Head where Taronga Zoo is, and also it's
100th birthday, where you can go on your birthday for $1 for this
year's centenary.

A perfect Summer day on Sydney Harbour, at the Quay this huge cruiseship.

I love the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge with it's Art Deco Pylons.

Fort Denison, looks so small but you can walk around, it has a cafe, and museum, and other rooms.

 The lovely rounded martello tower.

Off I go - on the Skyride up and down the Zoo's steep terrain.

Missed the Seal Show, but got my own up close and personal shots.

It was a hot day, so many animals were sleeping and hard to view.

The bird show was great.

 A Sun Bear.

Best piece of real estate in town.

 Fennec Fox.

The Meerkats were busy in the den with Mumma Meerkat and new pups.

 Sleeping Potoroos.

 Tree Kangarooo.

Observatory Hill.
