Sunrise at the beach

Dawn photography takes a bit of planning to get there at the right time. I was a
little late the first morning, arriving at 6.15.

So the next two times, I got up earlier and as soon as the first glimmer of light
made it safe enough to walk the streets I got there before 6, about 5.45.

The last morning, which was also Australia Day, I drove to a lookout which had
180-degree views and a good elevation.

I need to be more mindful though of getting my horizon line level.

Surfers are a keen early group too.

I could even sit my camera on this wall for stability.

Looking across to Manly.

Full daylight now, and finding these sweet coastal flowers just next to the lookout.
