Big Birthday

Getting old, those big numbers.

Celebrated on the day and also the weekend. First with art mates at Printmaking,
then with the family at Lane Cove National Park, Sydney.

Lovely food, cakes, cards, and gifts.

Thanks everyone for a great birthday.

Our spread at the Arts Centre.

Bringing out the vintage linen and silver. Embroidered violets, my birth flower.

Photographing the family, Sam just back from Hawaiin honeymoon.

Delectable pastries, biscuits, fruit,  meringues and cakes.

 Our son the photographer.

Lovely homemade rice paper rolls and dipping sauce. Made by Bec.

 Freshly squeezed juices, different blends.

Our picnic shelter with a bush view.

Visiting Brush Turkey doing the turkey trot.

Sam brought the pastries etc. from the bakery near her unit at Freshwater.

Bec makes this delightful alternative to sausage rolls with mushroom and herb filling.
In our vintage cake tin.

My friend gave me these little cupcake candles.
We had the whole picnic shelter to ourselves.
