Chanticleer Gardens on Easter Monday

A visit to an open garden out in the rural area of Galston, sounded
nice.

Chanticleer Gardens is a privately owned 5 acres of colour and
design.

A series of grass lawns, and brightly coloured flower beds, like a
scene from a Monet painting, surround the stately house that is a
mix of colonial and Italianate.

There is also a lovely studio outbuilding, and there we met the
delightful family dog.
