Art in Eden Gardens

A quite interesting, sculpture and installation trail through the
gardens.

Designed for the appreciation and education of children.

This wire and natural materials built pram, had a bed of gum leaves and wattle blossom.
It has a symbolic, almost ethereal quality to it. Very light and textured, it does not
have the solid substance of reality.

Eden Gardens: lunch and photography afternoon.

There were special new sculpture installations I had heard about. I didn't
realise they were aimed at children, as an adventure an educational trial.

It was a lovely day, and I had a great lunch first.

My experience at Mahdi Chandler's workshop.

Here are some of my results, followed by many other posts of other
member's work.

It was a very exciting workshop, and lent itself to experimentation, and
the addition of mixed media.

Further embellishment, e.g. collage, beads, stitches or embroidery, added
more visual interest and dimension.

I enjoyed seeing other's delight, creative ideas, and the photography of it
all as well.

From this experience, I think I will make a large triptych,
a miniature triptych, some books and more.
